Geology Services
- One man wellsite geology and mudlogging.
- Two man wellsite geology and mudlogging as 24 hour a day supervision.
- Mudlogging to include all standard procedures using drill time, drill cuttings, and gas analysis with total gas alone or total gas with chromatograph.
- Wellsite geologic supervision may be conducted using drill time and samples without gas analysis.Wellsite geology including:
• Daily reports sent via email in the morning and throughout the day as needed.
• Electronic mudlog and horizontal logs transmitted as needed.
• Geologic morning reports, show reports, horizontal evaluation, sample descriptions, etc. transmitted electronically.
• Digital microscopy – digital photos of drill cuttings sent electronically.
• All standard geology and mudlogging duties to included structural correlations, evaluation for drill stem test points, core points, and such.
• Horizontal and directional drilling geologic evaluation to include all aspects including drilling and landing curves, geo-steering laterals.
• Preparation of all government required documents, drill cuttings, and .tiff image mudlogs.
• Complete typewritten geologic report with color mudlogs, horizontal logs, and CD with digital files of all report documents. - Full office support preparing well packets and supporting documents prior to commencement of drilling.
- Full support of wellsite operations via telephone and onsite during critical times by Kathleen Neset, twenty eight years wellsite experience.
- Onsite support available 24 hours a day to Neset Consulting Service geologists while correlating, landing curves, geo-steering laterals, picking test points, core points, core evaluation and other times as wells and projects dictate.
- Core evaluation to include:
• Microscopic and macroscopic core evaluation in the field.
• Core photography – microscopic and macroscopic.
• Core handling – assist in laying down core, striping, marking, and boxing.
• Core hot shot service to lab.
